Our Charity Objective

"To preserve the honeybee, by promoting the craft of beekeeping and educating the public of the benefit of bees to the environment."

With our own teaching apiary and lecture facility we are one of the best equipped associations in the UK offering training and support to old & new beekeepers alike.

If you are considering starting beekeeping or are even retired from the hobby you are most welcome to join the LRBKA.  The new beekeeper can expect support and training whilst the more experienced beekeeper can enjoy the company of other beekeepers and keep up to date with what's happening in the local bee world with monthly winter meetings and social events to join in with and a bi-monthly newsletter

We have two teaching apiaries, one at Brooksby and one at Walton, use the 'Finding Us' menu button for details on how to get there.
